Starting with just 17 children from neighbourhood slums, Kompal Welfare Trust now caters to more than 150 children from age group ranging 5-16 years out of which 5 students have been sponsored to private formal school - studying in Kindergarten. The tution fee of these children have been ensured for next 12 years.

Our activities involve a mission with an objective to attain our vision. In order to achieve this we undertake several activities which supports :

	Study and recreational centre for children;
	Organising thematic capacity building and life skill workshops for children;
	Linking more and more children with formal and non formal education system;
	Networking with shelter homes for helpless, deserted children especially the girl child;
	Special programmes for empowerment of girl child;
	Linking up eligible children with vocational training;
	Forming support groups of the children;
	Training of trainers workshops, for children and NGOs on capacity building, children citizenship and governance, child rights, communication etc.
	Training of the grass root level of organizations working on the child labour issues;
	Opening up of resource centres for the migrant or distressed children.
